May 4, 2012 – Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation D. Rogozin visited JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyeniya.

 

He was accompanied by the First Deputy Chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission with the Russian Federation Government Y. Borisov, Director of Roscosmos V. Popovkin, Chief of the Military-Industrial Commission staff and Deputy Chief of the RF government staff I.V. Borovkov and other officials.
A. Leonov, General Director & General Designer of JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyeniya, greeted the guests. At first he introduced them to the history and basic areas of the company’s activity.
Then the visitors were introduced to shock, heat and strength test stands of the company’s test facilities registered in the List of Unique Test Facilities of the Defence Industrial Complex. In addition, D. Rogozin reviewed the progress in creation of advanced rocket and space systems at JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyenia.
Later in the day, a number of issues were discussed concerning development prospects of the Military Industrial Corporation NPO Mashinostroyeniya.
When opening the meeting, Dmitry Rogozin said: «Today we were introduced to carefully preserved test facilities of the company. Obviously, today we must discuss how to preserve and develop the unique technological heritage which came from the Soviet science and technology, to optimize options of using this heritage to the benefit of our rocket and space industry …Your work inspires optimism and hope that nobody could create a so-called missile defense system which will give a feeling of impunity to a particular country », noted the Deputy Prime Minister. “… activities which are carried out by JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyeniya are unique, it will receive state and government support», he stressed.
Dmitry Rogozin congratulated all employees of JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyeniya on the May Day and said that this is the day of labor people and precisely those people work at our company, people who produce actual stuff which is necessary to the country. He also congratulated the company personnel on the Victory Day and noted that the victory was forged not only at the frontline but also in the rear, at defense enterprises. In the end of his congratulation Dmitry Rogozin said: «And now our future is being forged here, at JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyeniya, because civil and defense technologies capable of ensuring independence and security of the Russian Federation are being created here so that the country could focus on important socio-economic issues».
